We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Development Officer .

Principal responsibilities

  • Perform system analysis, design, coding and development of HSBC Payment and Cash Management systems.
  • Understand user requirements and perform technical analyst and specification writing.
  • Conduct SIT, support UAT and system implementation.
  • Ensure that systems are implemented in accordance with IT standards, under DevOps and Agile principle.
  • Maintain close communication with other IT teams and coordinate IT related stakeholder activities.
  • Ensure system complies with group policies and standards.
  • Investigate and resolve problems arising in connection with IT services.


Qualifications

Requirements

  • University level degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related field.
  • Entry level of years hands on experience on Java or Python Development
  • Strong knowledge and experience of DevOps and Agile discipline.
  • Knowledge of RESTful or SOAP Web services, JSON and XML processing
  • Exposure to all stages of the application development process, from design, development, testing, through to implementation and training.
  • Experience in the domain of Payments and Cash Management would be an advantage
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning is a plus.
  • Good understanding of business requirements and able to provide solutions to customers promptly
  • Strong analytical, design and problem solving skills
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivery
  • Ability in working under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with good command of written and spoken English
