Digital Governance and Framework Lead - Retail Banking and Wealth Management

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Digital Governance and Framework Lead.

Principal responsibilities
  • Fully involved in the design and deployment of all products and services, including the Information Security, Credit, IT Security, Fraud, Legal, Operational Risk, Regulatory Compliance and Financial Crime Compliance functions to ensure the Bank, and our customers, are secure and protected
  • Ensure a fit for purpose risk and control framework has been established, the framework should allow for appropriate governance within Digital to ensure delivery at pace and drives risk awareness
  • Manage Digital Risk and Controls meeting, contractor resource, mandatory training, policy communication
  • Manages Contractor resource, mandatory training and Issues newsletter to Digital CCO team members
  • Works with Commercialization team to disseminate key policies and guidelines to all staff in Digital using language of enablement rather than control
  • Produces Heat Map of each risk for each projects in Digital
  • Works with On boarding team to ensure risk and control management in Digital is covered
  • Works with HR team to keep staff up to date on new development in risk and control management

  • ​Relevant working experience in a Digital Environment preferably in Financial Services, Banking and in Risk Management
  • Experience of working in an agile environment with an emphasis on improving ways of working
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of relevant operational control requirements relating to internal and external regulatory policies
  • Experience of influencing and changing legacy processes, by improving them, replacing them or making them redundant, with lean agile techniques, an Agile qualification such as Scrum Master or Product Owner would be an advantage
  • Experience and aptitude to constructively challenge the status quo
  • Highly organised and able to juggle conflicting priorities
  • Strong relationship management and persuading and influencing skills
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to quickly identify solutions to complex problems
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence an advantage
