Our client, a reputable professional services firm, is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee finance operations for its Hong Kong entity. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys managing end-to-end financial processes while supporting business operations.
The Role
- Manage the full spectrum of accounting and finance functions for the Hong Kong entity
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Prepare management reports, financial statements, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with Hong Kong accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
- Oversee daily finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities
- Partner with internal stakeholders to improve financial controls and operational efficiency
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
- Prepare payroll administration and payroll-related matters
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Qualified accountant (CPA, HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred
- 6+ years of accounting and finance experience, with managerial responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of month-end closing and financial reporting
- Experience overseeing finance operations within Hong Kong
- Payroll experience is an advantage
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Less experience will be consider Senior Accountant or Assistant Manager
