A globally recognized international investment bank who have created this role as part of a new strategic vision for the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The firm is looking for someone who can support senior management in finance to help drive a range of change and business improvements with a goal to improve the quality and effectiveness of the function in the region. You will need to interact with a wide range of senior stakeholders across the firm and so this role would suit someone who has well rounded experience who would enjoy a dynamic environment and could demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. Your key responsibilities would encompass financial management and cost control, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, engaging with the management team to manage and optimise divisional organisation and team structure. In addition, you will partner with HR to drive divisional people strategy, drive internal communications within the function and provide business administration support for finance management including operational policies and business continuity planning.

Key Requirements:

  • To be considered you will need 10 - 15 years of experience in a similar environment from the banking sector. Critical to your success, will be your prior experience in process transformation and cost optimization. You will need to be commercial operator who can demonstrate an excellent track record in relationship building, interpersonal skills, a can do attitude which will need to be a good balance of big picture and delivery. A newly created role with a high amount of senior exposure and a varied remit.
