A top-tier global asset manager is looking for a 5-8 years' experienced candidate to join the Fund Management Support & Client Reporting team to perform BAU activities and partially arranged to pick up project type of work.

Responsibilities

  • Review of outsourced provider’s pricing of Dublin Funds, SG, MPF and HKUT Funds, including the updating of price control sheets
  • Data preparation and input for feeder funds
  • Maintain portfolio valuation records
  • Distribution of valuation and transaction reports to internal clients
  • Expenses, including management fee, review and control
  • Payment instruction preparation
  • Review Total Expense Ratios (TERs) and Ongoing Charge Figure (OCF) for Dublin Funds, SG, MPF funds and HKUTs
  • Prepare and document report requirements for client reporting and internal circulation
  • Liaise with IT for report development and testing
  • Support initiatives to streamline some fund management support processes

 

Requirements

  • At least 5-8 years’ solid experience working in Fund Accounting Operation or change projects on Fund Accounting industry. More experienced candidate will be considered for an Assistant Manager title.
  • Basis understanding of collective investment vehicles (including MPF Funds) and the regulation surrounding their governance and of global markets
  • Proactive and able to work on own initiative
  • Experienced in undertaking project work (enhance efficiency), and stakeholder management

 

Technical Competence

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting or similar industry experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Basis knowledge of relevant accounting regulations and practices
  • Basis knowledge of regulations of the jurisdictions in which the Funds are administered
  • Basis working knowledge of relevant tax regulations
  • Ability to understand and utilise investment accounting and administration packages
  • Ability to collect and document operational requirements
  • Effective time management
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Accurate and efficient – precise attention to detail is essential
