Role Overview: The global standards manager will manage compliance related projects within their retail banking and wealth management division to assist in policy implementation, system change and procedural updates. This is a one-year contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support bank's implementation and delivery of various compliance requirements
  • Manage compliance related initiatives including risk mitigation activities, projects, and reviews
  • Support execution decisions relating to compliance solutions and escalation of issues, risks and dependencies as appropriate
  • Provide support during the project phases of testing, simulation, business readiness and implementation with final responsibility to assist in actual realisation of the project objectives
  • Manage input from stakeholders and collate responses to build comprehensive case for decisions including escalation
  • Driving a focus on risk outcome that each review needs to result in a sensible assessment of the risk and relevant recommendations

Key Skills:

  • Degree holder with proven track record in retail banking sector
  • Managed projects within a bank or participated in projects related to KYC, account opening, AML
  • Experience in Account Opening, Contact Centre, Know Your Customer, Anti Money Laundering and Sanctions is an advantage
  • Detail minded and strong analytical skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline
  • Willing to learn and able to adapt new challenges
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, including Excel and Powerpoint
  • Good language, communication and presentation skills
