Description

  • Acts as the advisor in Institutional Clients Group (ICG) AML Team and other internal stakeholders in relation to relevant matters
  • Perform AML monitoring on Markets clients/ transactions
  • Facilitate implementation of global monitoring initiatives for Markets
  • Perform AML review on third party transactions for Markets
  • Review name screening escalations from Markets Implementation Team
  • Perform T-code review for ICG transaction monitoring
  • Review base/internal account opening requests
  • Advise the ICG business on AML related matters
  • Report to MLRO on any AML suspicious activities observed
  • Interface with relevant units and the business in regards to ICG AML monitoring, as well as other ad-hoc project
  • Perform KYC record approval in accordance to the Global, Regional and Local regulations, policies and procedures as appropriate .
  • Assist in compliance and business management reports
  • Assist in the execution of MCA at country level
  • Conduct required AML training to the business's related stakeholders


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or above
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce or legal
  • Minimum 4 years of financial industry experience
  • Management experience with regulatory and compliance risk including interacting with senior management
  • Prior experience in handling anti-money laundering legal and compliance issues
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills
  • Proactive and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to work with a minimum level of supervision and a team player
  • In-depth knowledge of local banking rules and regulations
  • In-depth knowledge of banking products and services
  • In-depth knowledge of anti-money laundering laws, rules and regulations
