about the job - You will provide primary coverage for the IBD and Capital Markets business in APAC
- Build and develop relationships with the business to enhance tighter communication, foster an atmosphere of proactive Compliance by the business
- Ensure the "2nd line of defence" is tightly administered in accordance to the firm's larger objectives
- Manage firmwide projects and initiatives
- You will also lead the SFC on-site inspection in relation to IBD & Capital Markets
skills & experiences required - Degree in Law or Accounting or other relevant professional qualifications
- At least 8-10 years of experience in IBD / capital markets compliance or legal in financial services in HK
- In-depth knowledge of SFC rules and regulations pertaining to IBD and Capital Markets business
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects/assignments/responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with stakeholders at different levels
- Good organizational, leadership and people management skills
- Fluent in English, and Mandarin languages
