SG CIB is the Corporate and Investment Banking arm of the Société Générale Group. Present in over 50 countries across Europe, the Americas and Asia. SG CIB provides corporate, financial institutions, investors and public sector clients with value-added integrated financial solutions.

The GTS/COO team manages IT infrastructure contract management, asset inventories and oversees IT procurement activities for all APAC locations.

It ensures:

  • The accuracy contract inventories (Maintenance, Outsourcing etc.)
  • The follow-up on late payments or purchase submissions
  • The accuracy and reconciliation of IT assets inventories on behalf of all Asia departments
  • The control of IT purchases through regular reporting and daily cooperation with the procurement team in Chennai


Mission

Requirements

Recurring tasks
  • Monthly monitoring of procurement KPIs and volumes.
  • Monthly monitoring of new assets purchases and control of the accuracy of inventories between Marley and PS Expense.
  • Weekly monitoring of contract creations in Sourcing Hub versus Budget and actual purchases.
  • Weekly follow-up of late invoice payments with Procurement and Account Payable teams.
  • Prepare and report on infrastructure contracts, procurement and assets KPIs.
  • Monthly follow-up of project costs based on Actual purchases vs Budget & Forecast.

Enhancement tasks
  • Improve Project Financial follow-up management process.
  • Create, communicate and enforce the asset lifecycle process (creation, migration, disposal).
  • Develop contract management monitoring framework.
  • Automate procurement-related reporting and presentations.

Main responsibilities

The main goal will be to assist GTS RCTO on administrative and control operational duties.
He will be a key element of the team who will bridge the gap between accounting/finance teams and IT colleagues and ensure communication, controls and processes are running smoothly.

Degree of autonomy

This position requires a certain level of autonomy, with coaching and guidance provided by more senior members in the team, as well as his manager. Follow ups on various projects and objectives will be done on a regular basis.

  • Working closely with IT infrastructure teams based on several sites across Asia.
  • Working closely with Finance, Telecom Expense Management and P2P teams based in India (Bangalore and Chennai).
