We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to manage system deliveries for Commodities business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating end-to-end activities, from requirement gathering to translating those requirements into effective system solutions, and overseeing implementation and deployment. The successful candidate will have a strong ability to collaborate with multiple teams to drive success and manage various projects simultaneously.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

1. Gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of their needs and propose suitable solutions.
2. Translate gathered requirements into detailed specifications and collaborate effectively with developers to deliver appropriate solutions.
3. Document and maintain functional requirements and design specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
4. Define testing strategies and conduct thorough SIT for new features and enhancements, as well as co-ordinate UAT.
5. Communicate changes to impacted business users across various departments, including planning and managing changes in processes, operations, and systems.
6. Identify and escalate risks while proposing both tactical and strategic solutions to mitigate these risks and provide business support.
7. Assist in project coordination and perform administrative tasks as needed to support project progress.

Requirements

1. Bachelor Degree or higher in IT/Computer Science or business related
2. 8-10 years of experience in business analysis within the banking/finance sector
3. Proven experience in delivering system projects in Banking/Securities with execellent project management skills
4. Good understanding of commodity derivative products will be preferrable
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess complex situations
6. Excellent communication and written skills in English and Chinese
7. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently
8. Past experience with Calypso system is an advantage
9. Familiarity with SQL and other scripting languages is an added advantage
