We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a  Lead Solution Architect.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Understanding both business direction and technology roadmaps, steer teams strategic
  • Establish the best match technology solution to meet business need
  • Ensuring designs are technically coherent, realistic, and future proof, and aligned with IT strategy, principles, standards, and comply with regulatory obligations
  • Work along with technical architects and engineers to advise on and govern solution implementation
  • Make technological choices regarding products, methodologies, industry standards, and vendors and where needed lead the introduction of new patterns and techniques
  • Guide teams by building consensus and mediating compromises when necessary
  • Lead architecture development on strategic programs of work and key initiatives

Requirements

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with different groups of stakeholders including both external and internal
  • Solid experience in in collaborating with relevant business units and functions from technology strategy and strategic architecture development through solution design and project delivery
  • Team player who also has the ability to work under pressure, independently and proactively and can lead diverse teams to delivering business/customer outcomes
  • Strong analysis and problem solving skills with a solid understanding of software design patterns for secure, resilient and global Internet scale distributed systems
  • Experience designing distributed and high-volume transactional banking and servicing channels
  • Ideally with 8+ years of development experience with at least one of C/C++/JavaScript/Java
  • Experience with frontend technologies, standards and concepts including: HTML, CSS, responsive design, APIs, micro services, cloud adoption, identity and access management
  • Good exposure to database technologies, data modelling and data pipeline engineering
  • Knowledge of system interfaces with finance systems and management information systems
  • Excellent understanding of SDLC process, and Agile/DevOps/SRE frameworks and methodologies
  • Maintain can do attitude and stay positive towards challenges
  • Strong communications skills in both written and verbal in English. Proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin would be an advantage
