We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager, Business Development .

Principal responsibilities

  • To lead the business development teams to achieve assigned sales target
  • To formulate the scope, extend and deliver our products and services to corporate employers and their members.
  • To develop sales strategies and implementing a proactive roadmap on the implementation of members level sales activities for the MPF Preserved Accounts market and to generate revenue either cross-sell or up sell from both new and existing MPF members.
  • To recruit, train, motivate and cultivate high performing team and team members
  • To identify training needs and refresh skill polish needs for the subordinates.
  • To nurture staff potential and widen their skill profile to cope with eve -changing and ever increasing business challenges.
  • To develop marketing activities like workshop, seminar, to promote the brand to penetrate cross selling to existing customers and to induce awareness to potential new customers
  • To explore channel development, initiate and implement strategic plan to expand and increase market share
  • To be capable of building an excellent business network with business partners, have a nested customers relationship and is knowledgeable about the market that help bring in new sales for the department to meet its business objectives.
  • To work closely and effectively with the department head, other Business Development Managers within Employee Benefits and other stakeholders including counterparties in both Bank and Insurance to explore full Employee Benefits solutions to maximize sales production in accordance with matching customers' needs to individual products and services.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Bachelor Degree graduate or equivalent
  • Ability to develop subordinates into the required caliber to meet ever-changing and ever-increasing business needs.
  • Strong business sense to put forward ideas for implementation to help profit contribution for the department
  • Strong understanding of the Mandatory Provident Funds or Occupational Retirement Schemes Ordinance business and up to date product knowledge
  • Highly motivated, positive attitude and accountable
  • Team player with a self-motivated mindset and genuine interest in banking or pensions industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Effective problem solving skills
