Markets Operations is responsible for driving every part of the trade lifecycle post execution. Its global teams manage settlement activity, risk and control, while ensuring the delivery of regulatory compliance and seamless operational client service across 60 countries.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Manager, Operations Client Relationship Management.

Principal responsibilities

  • Perform all aspects of the day to day management of client relationships and work closely with their colleagues and the management team
  • Drive actions within the team, with the Operations asset classes and support the client service strategy across Global Markets Operations
  • Driving discussions and projects, organising meetings, partnering and influencing in the delivery of initiatives or Information Technology strategy and behaviour change internally to aid better customer service
  • Building deep and effective relationships with internal clients and operations functions
  • Assisting in the delivery of the client cultural awareness and marketing programs
  • Motivating the teams using data and evidence to reinforce the value of good client service
  • Preparing Client packs for visits or as and when required by the clients including industry intelligence and value add information
  • Proactively understanding, monitoring and driving high quality, optimal and consistent operations service across all products and functions
  • Conduct cross product Operational Broker reviews including premeeting review sessions with the Client Servicing teams or asset class teams to review operations performance versus benchmarks, preparing call reports and action logs from the reviews to ensure the actions are delivered promptly and effectively by the product lines

  • Experienced in a similar role previously and has a reasonable understanding of the key, post trade, market initiatives and market landscape
  • Ability to communicate effectively and with sufficient gravitas and prominence to influence key stakeholders and clients
  • Strong understanding of key products, the operational processes and client service focus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required in order to develop key relationships
  • Ability to problem solve, clearly articulate requirements, implement and drive change along with the ability remain organised, multitask effectively and efficiently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required as minimum standard
