Production Management, Custody & Fund Services
Working in Application Support means you'll use both creative and critical thinking skills to maintain application systems that are crucial to the daily operations of the firm. The Custody & Fund Services (C&FS) technology organization partners with both business and technology colleagues across the firm enabling the organization to deliver world-class technology in a predictable, cost effective and high quality manner. In Hong Kong, C&FS Production Management team provides direct business facing support for the expanding business across APAC.
Working in the Custody & Fund Services division of JPMorgan in Hong Kong, this is a key role within the technology team, working with a team of Production Management specialists supporting both the local business across multiple Asia Pacific sites.
The Production Management team is responsible for the support and maintenance of both vendor and in-house built applications for the APAC lines of business and work closely with both technology and business support units in planning maintain the stability of the Production environment.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Basic knowledge of application development
• Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages, plus an interest in learning other coding languages and skills as needed
• Working knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
• Excellent technical knowledge, including: SQL: Sbase or Oracle, SWIFT messaging, Server: Wintel/Linux/UNIX, ITRS Geneos, Automation technologies
• Proven record in implementation of monitoring automation and ongoing process improvement
• Experience in disaster recovery planning and test execution
