We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Publicity Manager, Product and Customer Proposition, Pensions.

Principal responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and execution of a holistic brand building strategy by employing different tools such as customer proposition and educational campaigns or initiatives and media exposure
  • Work closely with the Bank's marketing department to plan and execute various Above-the-Line and Below-the-Line campaigns, to ensure that the business objectives can be achieved through those campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Bank's communication department to manage and execute holistic communication strategy to external customers and media, for example media by-lines, press releases, via various customer communication channels such as Public Web Site, Mobile Banking, eDM blasting
  • Work with other customer-facing functions of Pension business, particularly Sales and Account Servicing Managers, to ensure that publicity activities can be fully utilised to improve customer acquisition and retention.
  • Lead end-to-end process of projects and campaigns, including planning, material drafting, obtaining internal clearance, submission to regulator for material approval, arrange for channel delivery
  • Manage and deliver timely and quality communications to internal staff, particularly customer-facing staff through internal channels such as intranet, internal seminars, to empower our front-line staff to portray a positive image of HSBC MPF to customers.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Strong business acumen, with a holistic view on how to promote the image of HSBC MPF among the public and in the industry, and how to utilise it to encourage sales and customer retention.
  • Exhibit a collaborative approach to the development and implementation of improvement projects and communication plans with different departments, functions and entities.
  • Exhibit effective communication skill and stakeholder management when working across teams, functions and entities to ensure that projects are run efficiently.
  • With proven track record in brand management, advertising, public relations, product promotion leaflet drafting, award application and event management.
  • Experience in MPF, Insurance and Banking is an advantage
  • Degree with major in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations or related disciplines preferred
  • Creative and resourceful to identify branding and marketing trends
  • Proficiency in both Chinese and English, with excellent copywriting skills
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
