Working closely with Client to understand the thinking of the technology leadership, business dynamics, and drive Solution discussions

Job Description and Responsibilities of Role

  • The candidate will be representing the SAP CoE in APAC BU within the Financial Services SBU’s ERP Practice. The role covers offers in Finance, HR & Procurement functions along with core Banking/Insurance products of SAP for Financial Services organizations in Banking, Capital Markets, and Insurance in the APAC region
  • Driving opportunities working with Market units to achieve revenue objectives
  • Work with existing Account team to penetrate existing and new logos
  • Leverage his/her connects in the market
  • Work with SAP Alliances and GTM team to create and run joint opportunities
  • Building out the selected sales plays & Solutions/offers in the region working with CoE leader
  • Working closely with Client to understand the thinking of the technology leadership, business dynamics, and drive Solution discussions
  • Work with CoE Leads / Market Unit leaders on Sales strategy and planning at the account level.
  • Drive opportunities from SAP Solutioning perspective resulting into delivery and where applicable, get into Engagement Delivery
  • Provide Delivery oversight on existing work

Attributes of the Role

  • Solid knowledge of SAP landscape and its solution components (SAP S/4HANA and HCM, Financials modules would be ideal)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with strategic thought process
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work well with teams and showcase thought leadership
  • Solid delivery management and/or pre-sales background
  • Ability to respond to RFP and estimation capabilities
  • Work experience in Banking, Financial services, Insurance is a plus
  • Should be open to travel frequently
  • Should have experience of the managing the client directly
