We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Business Development Manager, Renminbi Internationalisation Greater China Business Development .

Principal responsibilities

  • Reporting to Head of Business Development Greater China, the role has primary responsibility for developing and implementing the business development and strategic priorities for Renminbi internationalisation RBMI globally and for other Greater China initiatives
  • Contribute analysis and business support to Greater China related strategic projects through working with Group and the respective parties in the Greater China region, including Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan and Macau
  • Drive and execute comprehensive strategy for Global RMBI, including formulating underlying commercialisation plans with relevant stakeholders, and coordinating with local country governance
  • Interpret and communicate the latest market developments and regulations related to Greater China and RMBI to senior management and key stakeholders
  • Facilitate cross border, cross functional and cross business collaboration
  • Produce regular and ad hoc management reports and communications as required


Qualifications
Requirements
  • University Degree holder with Finance, Business Management or relevant disciplines
  • Strong experience in the banking or financial services industry with solid exposure and understanding of the Greater China banking industry, regulatory and economic environment
  • Solid analytical and problem solving skills, Able to critically consider large amount of information, identify material issues and articulate a well reasoned business case within challenging timeframes
  • Outstanding communication and influencing skills both spoken and written
  • Proven track record and confidence to work with both external parties and internal senior management
  • Self motivated and proactive with excellent organisational skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin required, Cantonese preferred
