It is a global business that brings together management responsibility for Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Insurance and Asset Management with a focus on customer-centric propositions and innovative and efficient distribution channels.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Customer Proposition Manager .

Principal responsibilities
  • Contribute to launching proposition initiatives and implementing business strategies for the mid and mass customer segments in alignment with Group directives to achieve the targets.
  • Drive the proposition development for Advance and Retail Banking to establish HSBC as the leading and preferred bank for the mid and mass segments
  • Develop plan and implement business strategies to achieve portfolio growth in terms of customers number and income, and improve customer experience
  • Drive the development of business initiatives and ongoing management of propositions to grow portfolio and profitability
  • Launch Group initiatives on Advance and Retail Banking
  • Execute Global Standard and control initiatives to ensure adherence to guidelines
  • Support special projects in relation to Advance and Retail Banking proposition enhancement
  • Liaise with key stakeholders including Retail Distribution, Channel, Product teams, Marketing, Compliance and Legal to facilitate development and implementation of initiatives and projects
  • Effectively train, motivate and develop junior managers within the team, where applicable


Qualifications
Requirements
  • University graduate with business studies related discipline with retail banking or product management experience and top and bottom line responsibilities
  • Possess understanding of integrated accounts and overall banking products
  • Familiar with sales and distribution framework and keep in pace with the ever changing market conditions
  • Can work independently and proactively
  • Strong project management skills in developing and implementing initiatives and possess the ability to solve problems promptly and effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Excellent people management skill
  • Strong numerical ability and analytical skills
