Our client is a Global Top Tier investment bank with close to 200 years of history, and covers 70+ markets globally. They are an Equity Derivatives powerhouse, and in these current volatile times, they have been extremely profitable and currently they are looking to hire two experienced Java Developers based in Hong Kong to develop front office trading applications for their Equities' desk.

Our client is a Global Top Tier investment bank with close to 200 years of history, and covers 70+ markets globally. They are an Equity Derivatives powerhouse, and in these current volatile times, they have been extremely profitable and currently they are looking to grow their Equity, and Equity Derivatives desk across the APAC region.

What is the role?

Currently they are looking for two Java Developers to join their team in Hong Kong, responsible for developing front office trading applications for their Equities’ desk. The successful incumbent will be compensated between HKD 700k – 1 million/annum + other benefits/annum.

How about the basic requirements?

A full JD is available upon request, though the basic requirements include

  • 3+ years of Java or C# development experience within the financial industry
  • An understanding of FIX protocol; working experience with FIX would be preferred
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development lifecycle
  • Good English communication skills
