Our client, a global financial institution, is looking for an experienced HR transformation specialist to join its regional office in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Regional Head of HR Shared Services, incumbent will get to enjoy excellent regional exposure and stable work environment for career development.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce HR business and operational dashboards/metrics and other Asia specific management reports
  • Analyze and rationalize reports to streamline; work towards minimizing Asia specific management reports in the medium run and
  • Effectively execute management analysis and business presentations
  • Support to educate HR users in reporting tools, promote direct access (self-service) where possible
  • Serve as project management and subject matter expert for HR Shares Services initiatives
  • Work with Asia HR Shared Services leads and countries to improve data and process, by reviewing and streamlining HR process workflows, increasing data credibility; serving as the regional operational excellence and customer metrics improvement lead having shared impact on our delivered outcomes
  • Develop detailed program work plans, metrics, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.  Monitor project health of change management efforts
  • Provide updates to senior leadership regarding project status and the application and implementation of new or revised procedures, processes, and/or initiatives
  • Lead complex HR process redesign efforts using Lean methodology and serve as Lean coach in the region
  • Support the Asia Shared Services regional lead as a key process and change contact for the Global HR organization with regards to the Asia deployment of initiatives, including Cloud implementation, manager and employee self-service, HR portal, as well as merger and acquisition of new countries
  • Lead and coach on projects from original concept through final implementation and provide a single point of contact for assigned projects

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HR projects and process improvements initiatives. 
  • Open to candidates from all industries. Financial services experience will be good to have. Candidates with HR consultancy background will also be considered.
  • Excellent ability to operationalize concepts (e.g. change management, Lean) into executable initiatives with defined measurable benefits
  • Strong ability to resolve issues, think critically and make effective decisions independently in a fast-paced and matrix environment
  • Commitment to quality, accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
  • Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and quantitative ability to reconcile and structure data effectively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to create presentation appropriate for different audiences (HR users, managers, leadership groups etc.)
  • Experience in global HR system (e.g. Oracle, SAP SuccessFactors) with experience in implementing and managing Employee Self-Service and HR portal an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint
