This is one of the Largest Global Brokerage Company specializing in General Insurance Risk Management. You will be one of the key players within the Business Development team to identify new business opportunities for the company and provide valuable market research. This company provides a wide range of product exposure and opportunities for career development.

New Business Development

  • Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
  • Cold call as appropriate to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization
  • Research and build relationships with new clients
  • Plan approaches, pitches and tender responses by working with team to develop proposals that responds to the potential client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service
  • Assist in developing a cross-sell and/or up-sell Divisional culture/process across the company 

Business Development Planning

  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop Company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators

Management and Research

  • Submit progress reports through internal system and ensure data is accurately entered and managed within Company’s sales management system
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team
  • Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets
  • Understand company goal and purpose so that will continual to enhance company’s performance 
  • Undertake post tender client visits 


  • At least 5 years’ experience in B2B Sales, preferbly in Financial Services or Corporate world
  • Robust understanding of policy wordings, contracts and facilities
  • Knowledge of the brokerage industry in Hong Kong will be plus
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize work and meet deadlines
  • Good presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
