We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Marketing Manager, Marketing Strategy .

Principal responsibilities

  • ​Act as the relationship manager between the business and marketing
  • Working closely with business and Marketing partners to develop integrated Marketing strategies to support revenue maximisation and market share for the strategic product or solution area, in alignment with the broader Business strategy
  • Clearly articulating through the business brief and other means, business requirements and what this means for marketing
  • Working with the Customer Strategy and Insight team to provide insight and expertise that contributes to the strategic conversation around how the areas assigned fit together to build customer centric solutions across the business'
  • Being the subject matter expert on the assigned strategic areas assigned within the Marketing team, ensuring that the appropriate level of Marketing support is provided to these solution sets
  • Leading the delivery of the Marketing plans for the areas assigned, including leveraging the most appropriate resources to deliver Marketing activity
  • Determining, establishing and using appropriate financial and non financial metrics to assess Marketing performance
  • Providing the regional and or country teams assigned with guidance on how best to support their relevant businesses in their respective geographies and have oversight of the Marketing initiatives planned and delivered, in order to provide a holistic view of the activity aligned to the areas of Global Marketing strategy assigned


Qualifications
Requirements
  • ​Role relevant qualifications, for example Degree level of qualification in marketing and or business studies is desirable but not essential
  • Proven track record and broad based business experience within a Financial Services institution.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify strategic needs based solutions both now and in the future.
  • Experience and evidence of working within teams over multiple sites.
  • Relevant product and segment knowledge including knowledge of Global Banking, Financial Institutions, Capital
  • Markets and Securities Services
  • A range of Marketing Communications planning and operational experience, including demonstrable success in developing and delivering campaign strategies and multi channel high profile campaigns.
  • Experience working in relevant environments, for example commitment to putting the customer at the heart of all development and implementation activities
  • Past working experience in a relevant role, for example proven ability to work on multi function projects demonstrating excellent relationship building skills.
  • Experience working in relevant environments, for example able to influence at senior level and lead across functional teams to drive improvement is desirable but not essential
  • A desire to find ways to continually improve the service delivered to customers
  • Track record of constantly looking for ways to do things better and an excellent understanding of the mechanism necessary to successfully implement change
  • Experience of supporting others' performance, enabling them to achieve by providing clear direction, motivation and support
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
  • An ability to build effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
  • Experience of making prompt and practical business decisions, even in times of ambiguity, considering various perspectives and taking responsibility for outcomes
  • Experience of creating and deploying comprehensive business or operating plans which consistently deliver desired results
  • A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements associated with financial services and experience of working within these
  • Experience working in relevant market context, for example road based commercial marketing experience, ideally within a Financial Services or Professional Services based institution is desirable but not essential
