We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Project Manager, Broker Outsourcing .

Principal responsibilities

  • The Senior Project Manager role forms part of the Broker Outsourcing Securities Services Change function.
  • Responsible for any large scale projects impacting the existing client base or onboarding projects aimed at adding additional clients to the service.
  • Build effective relationships with key clients and act as an initial escalation point for clients regarding projects they are responsible for.
  • The role is required to provide management of planning, execution and delivery of all projects they are assigned.
  • Provide management of planning and delivery, along with the appropriate structure and governance frameworks to all aspects of change work for existing clients.
  • Extensive interaction with other Broker Outsourcing Securities Services stakeholders, including Service Delivery Operations, Product, other Change and Information Technology teams, and where required ensure any delivery plans include the tasks and dependencies on these other groups.
  • To act as a point of contact for any client workshops requiring change involvement, to participate in the structure, content and delivery of the workshops with a view to winning future business and execution of an onboarding project.
  • Create and maintain project plans for change, whilst maintaining pragmatism to resolve issues and ruthlessly ensure prioritisation decisions are made in a timely manner. The role will also be expected to contribute significantly to building an onboarding framework enabling Broker Outsourcing Securities Services to onboard additional clients quickly, accurately and effectively.
  • Provide regional functional management and leadership to all project resources that are assigned. Where required any changes that impact Europe or the Americas are appropriately discussed with the appropriate Change leads in these locations.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • University graduate with a degree in finance or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of Markets products and associated post trade operational processes with specific functional expertise in one Middle Office, Settlements or Asset Services for Cash Equities is highly desirable.
  • Sound understanding of the securities industry, global market infrastructure and ongoing developments.
  • Strong experience and proven track record that can be demonstrated in delivering complex business and Information Technology system related changes.
  • Experience of managing projects within an operations, control or regulatory environment will be advantageous for this role.
  • Excellent client facing skills, with experience of managing client relationships and networking.
  • Flexibility in approach, and the ability to show initiative and respond quickly to changing situations.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and work to bring clarity by effectively engaging clients or partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
