Ethos BeathChapman are partnering with a global technology provider to help them add an experienced salesperson in Hong Kong expand their market share in North Asia.

The company considers the worlds leading asset managers, hedge funds and investment banks as clients and in this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage the firm’s global relationships to help you sell into North Asia.

Although the overall sales target will sit with you, you will be supported by a team of experts who will be there to support you close sales opportunities. They will do this through delivering product demonstrations and offering the technical expertise needed to showcase the true value of our client’s products..


  • Cold call for new business to continuously grow your pipeline of clients
  • Execute on the sales strategy through building relationships with prospects and understanding their needs to be able to pitch your suite of products.
  • Manage pipeline at various stages of the sales cycle including researching, cold calling and meeting clients to give product demonstrations, negotiation of terms and conditions and closing of deals.
  • Representing the company at industry events.
  • Work closely with prospects and clients to understand pain points of the product and ensuring this feedback is presented back to the relevant teams internally to drive improved product development.


Skills and Experience Requirements:


  • A strong background in developing new business, with a proactive attitude to your work.
  • Experience selling financial data or software in sell side or buy side clients
  • Experience managing pipeline at different stages of the sales cycle.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • Comfortable meeting and presenting to new prospects to generate new business.
  • Ability to work independently
