We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Staff Digitalization Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • The individual in this role will be responsible for deployment of new customer facing hardware and infrastructure into the Retail Banking and Wealth Management network and to customer facing colleagues. Currently this includes the delivery of Tablet technology, but scope will increase to include new technologies not currently deployed into market including new peripherals.
  • The role holder will have an understanding of technical hardware requirements, capabilities or constraints of various hardware technologies and will be able to identify solutions or alternatives. The role is not strictly limited to hardware deployment, and will also need to work with software product managers to deploy into Hong Kong.
  • The individual in this role will be responsible for delivery of a range of software and apps for deployment to new and existing hardware. Current scope will include the development and delivery of tablet software for retail customer facing colleagues requiring the individual to work closely with the global development team to create Hong Kong specific applications.
  • The role holder is responsible for identifying new opportunities to develop relevant retail software that can be deployed into Hong Kong. This may also require development of appropriate business cases to support development.
  • The individual in this role will be responsible for delivery of a range of Wealth related software and apps for deployment to new and existing hardware. Current scope will include the development and delivery of tablet software for wealth customer facing colleagues requiring the individual to work closely with the global development team to create Hong Kong specific applications. The role holder is responsible for identifying new opportunities to develop relevant apps, services and products that can be deployed into Hong Kong. This may also require development of appropriate business cases to support development.
  • The individual in this role will be responsible for delivery of Global Multi Channel programme deliverables into the Hong Kong market, including current and future deliverables.
  • The role will include working with local Retail and Wealth leadership in order to articulate and capture requirements, issue identification and resolution and actual implementation management.
  • The role will have some budget management responsibilities to ensure that delivery is in line with financial plans


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Experience in delivering digital transformation with tangible outcomes either within financial services industry or other organisations. Candidates with non financial services background will be expected to explain how their experience can benefit banking industry.
  • Ideally part experience with staff digitization such as deployment of mobile tools.
  • Hong Kong market experience, preferable if includes other Asian or global markets.
  • Experience with User Led Design, prototyping, working in Agile environment.
  • Extensive experience with the range of business development activities including identifying opportunities and developing business cases, defining product or service requirements, engaging a wide range of functional experts to agree deployment approach, project execution, launch, and post launch performance measurement and management.
  • Experience in a global or regional roles, working effectively to deliver targets in a large, matrix organization.
  • Exposure to projects that touch a range of technical platforms.
  • Strong thought leadership and creativity to proactively propose new business opportunities and resolve issues.
  • Competent with project planning and reporting.
  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate across various business lines and units and at senior levels within the organisation. Excellent at navigating differences of opinions. Experience in developing and executing customer facing and staff facing communication.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Energetic, positive attitude and team player.
  • A flexible approach to work and working hours. Willingness to travel.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferable.
