An international asset management firm is looking for an outstanding candidate to join as Trade Administration Manager. The position is based in Hong Kong.

Our client is an international asset management firm with an international presence. To cope with their business expansion, they are seeking an outstanding candidate to join them.
Responsible for preparing trade related reporting. Assist in monthly/ quarterly reports production for compliance and investment team to review. Provide support on broker research and obtain the required document for approval. Quarterly review of all brokers in trading system to ensure all brokers available for trading are approved and are being actively traded. . Possess good understanding of the Asia product offerings and clients. Develop and maintain accurate portfolio information for external clients, investors, brokers, custodial banks and internal portfolio managers. Post trade processing and resolving trade settlement issues in a timely manner. Identify work flow/system improvements and work with team on requirements needed for enhancement. Review procedures and controls within the Investment Operations team to ensure consistently high quality services to the front office, clients and other business units. Manage the relationship with custodian banks and internal/external counterparty such as brokers to monitor the quality of services and ensure good market practices are offered and delivered timely and accurately. Research and process corporate actions, closely monitor open orders when pending corporate actions need to be reviewed by compliance to avoid any possible trade errors. Collaborate with peers, other business units and functions amongst Asia country offices. Participate in projects as and when required.
To qualify for the position, you should be a Degree holder with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the securities industry and/or investment operations, with at least 2+ years’ direct experience working in a Middle Office Operations environment. Experience on trade reportings. Knowledgeable of Middle Office/Investment Operations’ policies and procedures, including but not limited to trade support and fund operations. Strong communication skills. Business systems (Bloomberg, OMGEO CTM, Portia) preferred. Good team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
