Global Transaction Services (GTS) comprises of Cash & Trade, Securities Services and Fiduciary Services. In an increasingly borderless world marked by burgeoning trade flow, expertise in trade finance services is an invaluable asset. With cash the lifeblood of every company, so too, is a good understanding of how to manage these cashflows. Trade Finance, together with Cash Management, is the mainstay of GTS, and is extended to SME and corporate clients for their local and cross-border financial transaction needs.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate is to join the Global Liquidity, Liabilities and Account Services product management team of GTS at DBS. The candidate will oversee the Liquidity Management (LM) product suite, including both domestic (Cash Concentration and Notional Pooling) and cross-border (Interest Optimisation, Cross-Border Cash Concentration) propositions, at a regional level.

The scope of the role focuses predominantly on the dimensions of execution of the LM product development and delivery strategy, monitoring the financial performance of the regional portfolio and the achievement of the annual plan, and the leadership in the client acquisition activities.

• Lead the development of new LM product capabilities across countries, with accountability spanning across the entire product lifecycle (conceptualization to commercialisation);
• Incubate and conceptualise product ideas regionally based on customer needs and prioritization of local market requirements;
• Subject matter expert for LM product knowledge. Keep abreast of current and evolving regulations and market environment. Competent on local and international LM and commercial practices;
• Lead and LM specialist consultant to GTS Sales and IBG Coverage Teams to accelerate client engagement and increase deal conversion rates;
• LM representative in GTS Marketing activities and client events, as required;
• Responsible for execution of Liquidity Management strategy, standardisation of capabilities and alignment of priorities across the region;
• Responsible for P&L of LM product portfolio. Foster collaboration with Sales, Implementation and Relationship management teams on large, complex client engagements and to drive product commercialisation, resulting in winning client LM mandates;
• Accountable for developing marketing collateral and initiatives as well as analytical tools for Liquidity Management business;
• Partner closely with IBGT and Operations to execute new product development and enhancement initiatives;
• Deputy to Group LM, Liability and Account Services Lead on LM matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/ Banking;
• At least 10 Years of relevant experience in Banking;
• Liquidity Management product knowledge, global/regional solutioning, as well as experience in product management;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications;
• Ability to work independently and interact with business partners;
• Ability to influence and impact outcomes;
• Strong team player with good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Strong strategic mindset with proven analytical skills;
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to handle multi-tasking environment, meet deadlines, and work with a wide range of sensitive and confidential issues;
• Ability to take initiative, work independently and accomplish a task with little supervision
