We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Transformation Lead, Cyber Security, Asia Pacific .

Principal responsibilities

  • Support the Regional or Business and Global Cybersecurity team in Programme management of transformation change through deployment of programmes and provide inputs into strategic change planning for the Regions.
  • Ensure balance between global delivery with regional impact and relevance. In this regard ensure integration of global and regional plans
  • Accountable for the delivery of regional cybersecurity transformation projects in the regions, by working closely with global programme managers or taking on the role of programme managerment of regional programmes.
  • Provide Regional reporting so that regional and local stakeholders are aware of what is being delivered and when
  • Work with the regional stakeholders to ensure that there is sufficient support and commitment for all key programme plans, commitments, changes including requirements, quality assurance plans, budget, schedule, scope, risk mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Assess the regional or business impact on the benefit realisation for the programme and takes action to minimise impact.
  • Review the regional or business line performance against Transformation objectives and take remedial actions where required.
  • As a senior role they need to be able to operate at executive level across the region to deliver the Cybersecurity Transformation agenda.
  • Ensure all agreed regional or business line costs, quality and delivery commitments to stakeholders by priority market teams are met.
  • Evaluate delivery quality of the regional business line Transformation team using methods such as KPIs and surveys.
  • Promote regional adherence to project or programme governance model and use defined standards and tools for processes such as risk logs, change control and resource requests.
  • Ensure regional or business line programmes have sufficient resource allocation.
  • Drive the adoption of HSBC project standards and work in alignment with HSBC transformation methodology at all times. Collaborate and share best practices with other regional transformation leads
  • Accountable for effective transformation framework methodology deployment across the region.
  • Supports effective portfolio, programme and project risk management through the implementation of the HSBC transformation framework within the region.
  • Provide inputs to Regional or business line management to allow portfolio risks and issues to be addressed.
  • Represent the bank to key external stakeholders including Regulators if and when required
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders internally and externally to ensure the regional portfolio is reported accurately and with insight, to ensure appropriate management action
  • Deliver regional projects by managing local and global delivery teams, and where applicable through the use of third party resources


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Strong program and project management experience
  • Typically educated to degree level, within IT or Risk
  • Industry qualifications desirable, but not mandatory in CISSP, CISA or CISM
  • Solid experience in governance, risk and compliance
  • Regulatory engagement, experience in dealing with compliance matters, and regulatory liaison
  • Ability to build strong relationships and communicate on complex issues with executive stakeholders
  • Understanding of business finance and experience of effective managment of budgets and expenditure
  • Comprehensive understanding of banking and security in context of wider industry trends and direction
