VP Head of Wealth Product Control, Consumer Bank
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the product controls for all products under Wealth Management, including Mutual Funds, Bonds, Structured Products, Treasury Products, Deposits, Brokerage & Portfolio Finance products
  • Lead and actively involve in department-wide projects which concerns product control
  • Act as a guardian to lead the entire WM team for a strict adherence & compliance to all external & internal rules & regulations
  • Manage the team to execute day-to-day product compliance
  • Develop plans and execute functional strategies for a country, group of countries, region, or business requiring coordination and integration across units as well as provide input into strategic decisions affecting job family or function within region or business
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Qualifications:
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in in product control within a bank or financial institution and knowledge of financial products. Experience in investment, treasury & deposit products will be a plus
  • Working knowledge of market dynamics, products, and competitive climate
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated influencing skills
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
