You will:
You will be member of the team owning backend components of a hybrid, distributed system calculating essential P&L and risk numbers used by Morgan Stanley’s equity traders to make their business decisions. As member of the team, your tasks will include the full spectrum of the software development lifecycle, from planning and designing our solutions, implement the code changes, participate in code reviews, automate our deployment process, and also providing level 3 support to the operations team.

Qualifications:





You have:
-Solid knowledge of C++

-Basic Unix/Linux knowledge

-Experienced in testing in a multi-component, distributed environment

-Experience in unit testing frameworks in C++

-Experience in software architecture design

-Proven record of working in a multinational team divided across many time zones and locations and deal with occasional short deadlines

-Intermediate level English skills




You might also have:
-Experience in or knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle methods

-Knowledge of shell (ksh) scripting or a higher level scripting language (perl, python)

-Experience with C++11 and 14

-Experience in application development using an RDBMS system

The ERS Valuation Services team in Budapest is looking for an intermediate level C++ developer who is open to learn basic financial concepts and trading methodologies, has an intermediate level knowledge of the English language and is motivated by a fast paced development environment, inspiring work atmosphere and open ended carrier opportunities. The ideal candidate is well versed in the object oriented programming concept, open to learn and use new technologies and is capable of performing as a member of a development team.
