We are currently looking for a
Trading Fees Controller
for our Budapest office

The Budapest Trading Fees Controlling group is seeking to fill a Controller position that requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical, technical and communication skills. Main responsibilities include trading fee reconciliation, communication with exchange and clearing houses and Morgan Stanley Finance Controller groups; month end close tasks, variance and trend analysis, GL account reconciliation, invoice reconciliation and payment, and delivering on ad hoc requests from Finance management and Business Units. The role also includes active contribution to automation and renovation projects, optimization of current processes, and harmonization/standardization of processes across regions.


Controlling of trading related expenses
Reconciliation between internal and external (exchange) trade details
Month-end close activities (accruals, allocations, variance analysis)
Interact with internal controllers, operations and traders to resolve any trade related issues
Cooperate with Accounts Payable Team to ensure invoice payments are made in a timely manner
Respond to ad-hoc reporting requests to Business Units
Working closely with the Brokerage & Clearing teams in the hub locations (New York, London, Hong Kong)


Skills required:

Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related fields
Minimum 3 years of experience preferably in finance or accounting field
Interest in banking and the financial markets
Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Good understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts is an advantage
Confident spoken and written English
Demonstrated ability to: prioritize competing responsibilities, work under pressure, meet challenging deadlines and capability to build and maintain effective business relationships
Strong analytical and technical skills, especially the use of MS Office Excel
Pro-active attitude
Good team player
