We are currently looking for
Transfer Pricing Controller
for our Budapest office

The Morgan Stanley Transfer Pricing Control Group is responsible for an independent validation of the transfer pricing calculations to ensure accuracy and quality assurance, suspense and break monitoring to ensure transfer pricing has no pre- tax impact on the firm, the transfer pricing systems and providing subject matter expertise as questions arise from legal entity controllers and product controllers. In addition, the team has been spearheading a number of global projects to streamline the process.

This position requires a strong, self-motivated and innovative individual.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Coordinate with Transfer Pricing Tax and Legal Entity/ Business Unit Controllers globally
  • Participate in month end close process for Transfer Pricing
  • Work on account reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Perform an advisory role for various stakeholders
  • Liaise with IT and users on systemic issues and enhancements for the transfer pricing systems owned by the group
  • Responsible for the oversight and maintenance of the transfer pricing applications and serves as an advisory as issues arise

  • Solid analytical skills
  • Self motivated and the ability to work both independently and as an effective team member
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate, prioritize and manage multiple activities
  • Strong PC Skills (Microsoft Excel, Work, Access)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance with a strong academic background in Accounting
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in Accounting
