IT Business Controls Tech Lead
Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in evaluating and auditing IT processes and control effectiveness
* Experience in IT controls testing and assessment of SOC1/SOC2
* Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is a plus

Additional Experience / Competencies:
- At least Four years of relevant IT risk experience
- Five to Seven years of general IT experience
- Knowledge of IT Risk Management frameworks - ISO 27002, COSO 2013, NIST 800.53
- Experience working in Financial Services / Asset Management industry

Travel: No Travel

Individual Accountabilities:
Control Assurance - conduct control testing in order to assess internal controls to allow management to make reasonable conclusions on control effectiveness of IT processes and systems. Review and assess effectiveness of existing of controls and associated test results to help mitigate risk and improve operations. Assess control design based on control objectives, the attributes of the control activities and provide a conclusion on the control design effectiveness Control test of effectiveness:
a. Inquiry
b. Inspection
c. Observation
d. Re-performance
Document control deviation including type of failure, root cause, business impact including financial impact Issues Management: Work with business process/control owner to ensure that deviations are remediated according to control requirement and closed Support control owners to implement remediation solutions by providing mentorship on remediation requirements to balance improved effectiveness with simplicity of the IT control environment
