Sr.System Analyst - ITAM
As an IT Asset Management Technical Analyst, you will be responsible for daily and strategic management and control of the Hardware portfolio in order to optimize the value, cost and risk. You will develop reports that pull data from various sources showing gaps in current environment and develop standardized ITAM processes. You will work closely with subject matter experts, including system architects, system administrators, project and program managers, financial managers, and engineers to obtain critical information required for the management of software. Responsibilities
Maintain ongoing documentation of data definitions, and process workflows Interact with the Asset Management system to ensure data quality of new or changed Asset records Knowledge of ServiceNow ITAM / CMDB module is a plus Ensure asset data integrity both from the ownership and discovery standpoints Own exception management process (ServiceNow Exceptions) for ITAM process violations Be the POC for Asset Managers in the organization and provide subject matter expertise for asset lifecycle management process/data and system Monitor all newly established processes and procedures Work Closely with Configuration management team and ensure that Asset lifecycles are appropriately synched with CI lifecycles Define and maintain ITAM KPIs Create ad-hoc Asset Management reports to govern the established ITAM processes Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience. At least 4 -7 years of IT Asset Management experience in a large, high volume multi-client environment supporting several remote locations. Experience working with Flexera and ServiceNow/BMC Remedy A self-motivated, knowledgeable individual that can document and communicate complex ideas in simple terms to internal teams Customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills Must have strong will to work in an extremely challenging environment Preferred Qualifications
Manage software catalog within ServiceNow - Add/Change/Retirement of software titles, identify and provide requirements for changes to Service Catalog Define and maintain processes to perform license availability check at the point of provisioning software request Manage software request process including approvals and the provisioning workflow Manage process to bring new software into Ameriprise environment Manage process to maintain list of approved / unapproved software, including removal of unapproved software Establish and manage integrated model management process (integration with PIME) Manage process to reclaim unused software for optimization of software costs Define and report SAM KPIs.
