Our client a highly regarded Charity with a Head office in North Dublin are currently looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join them on a contract basis.

This role will suit a Qualified accountant with +7years post qualification experience

Head of Finance or Finance Manager

Proficient in excel with pivots, vlookups, managing large volume of data

Ability to work independently and see projects to their end position

Has previous experience in managing a team and bringing team members on the change journey

Role Responsibilities

• Risk Register - working with the HOF and the Risk Team to get these documented and closed out.
• Internal and external audit open items - working to get these closed by working with the HOF and the wider SMT and management within CRC.
• Finance KPI's - working with the SMT and the HOF to put these in place and tracked on a monthly basis.
• Process Improvement - Finance, AP, AR & Pension / Payroll - work with the HOF to review the current processes and to see where improvements could be made and then working with the finance team to get these in place.
• Pension Reporting and Review - review the current reporting processes and to see where improvements and automation may be used to speed up this process and improve the accuracy.
• Budget 2027 - To prepare the funding, pay and non-pay (overheads) templates for the 2027 Budget formats - working closely with the HOF and the Management Accountant in Finance.
• Project support - New IFMS System is been integrated into larger parent organisation HOF is the main contact for these but support will be required from time to time.
• Audit and Board Papers - support the HOF with the preparation of these reports as and when required.
• Ad Hoc Reports / Projects - work with the SMT, CEO and HOF as these projects arise.

This role will be based on site.

Working week - 35 hours

Annual Leave - 30 days
