THE ROLE: PM Senior Manager, Modern Networking & Cyber Security

About The Job:

The PM Senior Manager, Modern Networking & Cyber Security within the Delivery Office is responsible for leading the enterprise project and programme management function for the Modern Networking and Cyber Security practice. The role is accountable for overseeing customer project and practice portfolio delivery, and aligning delivery execution with both business strategy and client commitment. This role drives organisational performance, financial outcomes, and Delivery Office maturity while leading Managers, Program Managers, and Project Management teams across complex engagements.

Travel Requirements / Working Model:
  • Minimal travel requirement (0-30%)
  • Hybrid - 2 days per week in office (Location Specific)
  • Full-Time

The Role and Responsibilities:
  • Lead enterprise Modern Networking & Cyber Security practice delivery strategy, governance and operating model.
  • Oversee portfolio and programme delivery across all practice engagements.
  • Own financial performance across the practice project and programme portfolio including revenue and margin targets.
  • Lead and develop Project Managers, Programme Managers, and PM teams.
  • Align practice delivery with business growth, sales strategy, and client outcomes.
  • Builds and embeds a "consulting mindset" across all levels of the Delivery Office.
  • Drive Delivery Office maturity, scaling, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Establish or leverage project and programme delivery KPIs, reporting, and performance frameworks.
  • Manage executive escalations and high-risk engagements.
  • Staying up to date with emerging client delivery methodology frameworks including applicable regulatory or security requirements.
  • Enhances and engages AI in every aspect of the Delivery Office function.

Required Skills:
  • Consulting and Selling Mindset:
    • Shapes and communicates end-to-end value realisation strategies, ensuring client delivery is tightly aligned to measurable business outcomes and upsell opportunities.
    • Partners with executive leadership across Sales, other Practices, and Delivery Office leaders to define delivery models, and long-term client engagement approaches.
  • Execution and Organisation:
    • Oversees practice execution across all projects and programmes ensuring consistency, quality, and predictability
    • Establishes or improves scalable frameworks for (1) Delivery lifecycle management, (2) Risk and issue management and (3) Performance reporting and KPIs.
    • Drives cross-practice prioritisation and resource alignment, ensuring optimal delivery across competing business demands.
  • Communication and Influence:
    • Demonstrates strong executive presence, influencing C-suite stakeholders, business leaders, and client executives.
    • Drives alignment across organisational boundaries, including Sales, Presales, Finance, and Practice leadership.
    • Oversees and manages critical escalations and high-impact delivery risks at the enterprise level.
  • Financial and Data Leadership:
    • Owns practice-level financial performance including revenue attainment, profitability and margin performance and forecasting accuracy.
    • Establishes and monitors practice-level delivery KPIs, financial metrics, and performance dashboards.
    • Partners with Finance and executive leadership to ensure practice delivery performance supports overall business objectives.
  • Adaptability and Leadership:
    • Leads the practice aligned Delivery Office organisation including Programme and Project Managers
    • Defines and drives Delivery Office talent strategy, including hiring, development, performance management, and succession planning
    • Builds a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement across the organisation

Experience and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of working experience in project, programme and/or PMO leadership within Technology Consulting / Professional services / VAR or Systems Integrator or Enterprise IT environments.
  • Proven experience leading PMO organisations and/or large delivery teams and managing portfolio-scale delivery and financial performance.
  • Experience collaborating with Executive leadership (VP, SVP, C-level), Sales and go-to-market functions and engineering or technical leadership.
  • PMP certification or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Advanced certifications (PgMP, SAFe, Lean Portfolio Management, etc.) highly desirable.
  • ITIL certification or service management experience a plus.
