Financial Control Unit reports to the CFO of Investment Assets & Wealth Management Business Unit and is responsible for ensuring the overall consistency of the planning process and the accuracy of month-end close, in coordination with Group Strategic Planning and Control and Group Integrated Reporting. The Investments, Asset & Wealth Management business unit aims at becoming the unique managerial entity of the Group Assicurazioni Generali operating in the area of investments, asset management and financial planning consultancy.
The ideal candidate will work on the following activities:
Support in budgeting and planning process for all the companies within the perimeter of the Investments Asset & Wealth Management Business Unit
Prepare monthly financial reports and analyse financial data to identify results, trends and financial forecasts
Oversee the preparation of income statements for all Legal entities within the BU and consolidate the financial statements for the Business Unit
Develop plans for financial growth across the BU and review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities
Coordinate processes within all legal entities of the BU, streamlining Planning & Control and Accounting functions and create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
Prepare documents and reports for Top Management with timely and accurate financial information to provide insight and robust challenge to support decision-making
Master Degree / Master Science in Economics or Finance, with top-grades
5+ experience in Finance sector, preferably in the Asset Management sector, with proven experience in planning and control functions, with a deep knowledge of the dynamics of the sector. Accounting skills.
Mastery of Excel, database and Power Point
Comfortable with working under pressure and with tight deadlines in a multicultural environment
