Big Data Analyst for e-commerce

Dive into large sets of data to identify and analyze painpoints and sales performance in fun and young team

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Extract essential data for analysis using internal data warehousing and web analytics tools
  • Use SQL and Excel to analyze large data sets
  • Give advice to product owners and management teams regarding online performance of e-commerce products
  • Identify metrics of importance and track changes or interesting outliers in the data
  • Translate large amounts of data into useful information to share with Account Managers and online merchant managers, and ability to prioritise action points

Required skills
  • 3+ years of experience in data mining/data analysis, working with large scale databases and data warehouses
  • 3+ years of experience in advanced SQL operations
  • Good communication skills in Japanese (native level) and English (business level)

Preferred skills
  • Good understanding of online merchandising or e-commerce
