Align your passion for equities and financial markets by joining our established Sales Trading team in Tokyo. This role will enable you to work closely with the regional research team, equity sales and sales traders to deliver a message that leverages our global platform and reach.
Reporting to the Head of Execution, sitting in Tokyo, you will be planning and executing the marketing strategy for cash equities. On a daily basis, you will make outbound/inbound sales calls to clients, so it is important you are able to identify and maintain key client relationships. You will also be required to call upon your strong communication and public speaking skills during your presentations to both investors and brokers. Lastly, you will be involved in leveraging the various trading tools and platforms that Macquarie employs to continue to offer our clients new ways of executing through Macquarie globally.
As the successful candidate, you will have prior experience gained from a similar role. You should be fluent in the English and Japanese language, both verbally and written. You’ll be a natural people person, so you will enjoy creating meaningful relationships with your key stakeholders and clients alike. Having a good set of sales and marketing skills will be a plus, along with basic knowledge of options.
