Technical Writer for Fintech

Language Proficiency

Work in international team on technical documentation for online payment products in fast-growing company

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Create, update and localize documentation helping developers to deliver a high-quality payment product
  • Help solve important questions and new problems the teams run into during the product design phase
  • Maintain strong communication with engineering team, risk team and product team members, and other teams where needed
  • Maintain accurate internal documentation on the company's API's and backend systems, including message flows and business logic

Required skills
  • 2-5 years of experience as a technical writer in IT industry
  • BA degree
  • High level communication skills in English and Japanese

Preferred skills
  • Experience with REST API
  • Experience with GitBook
  • Experience working as software architect or developer

Personal Attributes
  • Experience coordinating complex product development cycles and software
  • development schedules
  • Interest in working with people with varied backgrounds
