Better requires process, discipline, and simplification
We'll be looking for you to work on to develop data testing approaches, highlight data analytics opportunities and drive efficiencies in testing from the use of data analytics in our internal audit organization within our money transfer and payments business, covering accounting/finance, compliance, IT, front / middle and back office operations and other business areas. You will be responsible for designing and implementing appropriate data analytic techniques, primarily using software tools(e.g. Alteryx, Knime, Python, SQL) to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of our internal controls & frameworks, record(Confluence, JIRA) and report(Tableau, Power BI) the work done on these findings to Audit Project Team with your recommendations. You will work closely with other members of the audit team to identify, test and report key risk areas and data exceptions, and develop reporting that can be run and refreshed on a regular basis in line with the audit timelines. From your finding, you will collaborate with audit teams to help establish remedial actions from the issues you have identified.  

For such a detail-oriented role, we require you to have a bachelor's degree and have excellent analytical, problem-solving skills with a strong focus on business risk and advanced communication skills to succinctly convey results identified from testing. The role requires a team player, therefore a good ability to work with others and build strong relationships with stakeholders is vital. Having Data Analytics experience in External/Internal Audit in financial services, banking, other financial environment or experience of using software tools like Alteryx, Knime, Python, SQL for data analysis would be an asset.

Annual base salary gross: 17,248 - 30,544 EUR

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies.  The salary is one component of Western Union's total compensation package for employees.
