Information Security Analyst, IRIS2

ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Information Security Analyst supports the implementation of the security accreditation strategy within assigned areas of the IRIS² Programme.

The position holder contributes to security engineering, security accreditation, risk assessment and compliance activities under the guidance of senior members of the Information Assurance & Security Accreditation function.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

• Supports the implementation of security accreditation activities within assigned programme areas.
• Assists in the analysis and review of security requirements and contributes to their implementation across the system.
• Supports the preparation and review of security accreditation documentation and supporting evidence.
• Contributes to security risk assessment activities and supports the management of identified risks and mitigation actions.
• Supports the review of technical documentation provided by engineering teams, partners and suppliers.
• Assists in the collection, consolidation and maintenance of security accreditation evidence.
• Supports security testing activities through the review of security test plans and test reports.
• Supports the monitoring of security-related actions, issues, risks and non-compliances.
• Prepares reports, presentations and status updates for internal and external stakeholders.
• Participates in security coordination meetings and contributes to follow-up activities.
• Supports the collection, organization and traceability of security accreditation evidence and related documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in:

• Cyber Security
• Computer Science
• Aerospace Engineering
• Telecommunications
• Information Technology
• Related Engineering disciplines

Experience:

• Approximately 2 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, system engineering or similar technical domains.
• Knowledge of security governance, cybersecurity or risk management principles.
• Experience in technical analysis, documentation or engineering support activities is considered an advantage.
• Knowledge of EU, ESA, NATO or governmental security standards is considered an advantage.
• Exposure to security accreditation, risk assessment or compliance activities is considered an advantage.
• Exposure to space, governmental or critical infrastructure programmes is considered an advantage.

OTHER KEY REQUIREMENTS / COMMENTS

• The candidate must be eligible for a "SECRET" security clearance, in accordance with the national regulations as well as EU/ESA/NATO equivalents
• Willing to work 60% onsite from office
• Travel as required for project realization purposes
