Your team

 

As part of the Risk & Compliance Department, and reporting directly to the Head of Compliance, you will be mainly responsible, together with the other staff in the department, for carrying out activities related to the supervision of compliance with the company's anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing (AML) rules. You will also progressively work on the compliance obligations linked to the status of the management company in Luxembourg.

Your role

 

The Compliance function’s duties include the following tasks:

 

  • Supervising the AML/KYC control activities carried out by the Transfer Agent Department, by reviewing investors' files, particularly those posing a high risk.

 

  • Carrying out second-level controls specific to the function, covering both activities relating to the acceptance and monitoring of business relationships with investors (Transfer Agent Department) and those specific to the management company's clients (i.e. procedures for entering into relationships).

 

  • Proactively contributing to monitoring the company's procedures according to regulatory developments in the AML field.

 

  • Contributing to the production of all types of report relating to the AML/KYC requests of our internal and external clients.

 

  • Working on different projects (business development as well as IT and organisational projects, etc.) that involve the team.

 

  • Being involved in presenting the team’s activities to in-house and external clients, including when regulatory changes occur.
Your profile

 

  • University degree (BAC +5 minimum) in Economics, Law or Finance.

 

  • At least five years’ experience in the area of AML and compliance.

 

  • Good knowledge of European and Luxembourg legislation on AML/KYC.

 

  • Sound grasp of the various roles in the investment fund industry, and more particularly of the operating mechanisms of a management company, but also of a custodian bank, transfer agents, fund administration and the related regulatory framework.

 

  • Good stress management.

 

  • Written and spoken fluency in French and English.

 

  • Knowledge of German would be a plus.
