About M&G Luxembourg S.A. & M&G International Investments S.A.

M&G Group has had a presence in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg since 2002. The business comprises a Super Management Company ("Super ManCo"), which today manages M&G's EU domiciled Real Estate funds only, but in future will be responsible for managing all of M&G's EU domiciled products and services across a wide range of asset classes; and a separate Luxembourg based Distribution firm ("PFS") which will be appointed by the Super ManCo as distributor of funds and services via a network of European branches.


To assist with the accounting operations and financial control for two M&G Luxembourg entities. The role focuses on accounting entries, accounts payable function and financial controls, working within a small Finance team in Luxembourg and with contact with the wider M&G Group finance teams.

* To carry out the tasks of the accounts payable function: Processing purchase invoices, processing employee expense claims, processing credit card expenses, ensuring correct sign offs and authorities are completed for any expenditure, preparing bank payment instructions, preparing journals and uploads to Sun systems
* Make accounting entries for payroll and bank postings
* Assist with post month-end balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analysis as part of the team's monthly financial control protocol
* Reconcile and settle inter-company balances (in co-ordination with wider M&G Finance function)
* Provide accounting administration support for the Real Estate SPVs
* Review and development of processes and procedures to accommodate business changes.
* Build an understanding of the relationship between the Lux entities and the wider M&G Group.
* Build relationships and strong communication channels with the wider M&G Finance function.
* Assist Accountant and Finance Manager with statutory and regulatory reporting tasks examples of which could include monthly results analysis, regulatory returns, VAT returns as required.
* Ad hoc departmental tasks

* Working knowledge of accounting standards (Lux GAAP and IFRS)

* Ideally bi-lingual to include English plus either French or German.
