We will further have a continues development of BIL`s digital banking capabilities and the digitization of are core processes such as , BIL onboarding process & foster end –to-end process digitization. 
 
In this context of BIL transformation plan, the Minimum Value Proposition (MVP) on Distribution has been identified and integrated in the bank transformation plan. The ongoing programs have been reshaped and the teams mobilized for the next steps, in priority on MVP delivery.
 
Mission :
 
Within the business transformation department, as a part of Advanced Analytics team, we are currently looking for an intern to strengthen our team of data scientists.
 
You will :
- Participate in the studies and analytics cases defined within our roadmap
- Lead your own data science case, e.g. churn early detection
- Collaborate with other BIL departments about your model integration (scope of application, available data, results usage,…)
 
Main activities :
- Exploring data, to find patterns and relationships (data mining)
- Explaining why certain events occurred (statistical analysis, quantitative analysis)
- Building forecasts abilities (predictive modeling, action proposals)


Profile:

Profile :
- Studies in Statistics / Mathematics o (engineer school, Matser,…)
- Knowledge on statistical modeling and predictive analytics : regressions, classifications, clustering…
- Experience working with data mining / modeling tools, especially in Python
- Interest in new technologies, especially in Big Data
- Knowledge in Business Intelligence tools  (e.g. Data visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlikview) would be an advantage
 
Internship duration : Long term (at least 6 months)
