RiverBank is looking for an ambitious Junior quantitative Risk Analyst to join its office in Luxembourg

Core Responsibilities

  • Prepare and improving the portfolio, risk and liquidity suite of reports
  • Provide analytical support to team members across departments (predominately Risk and Credit)
  • Perform testing on new software integration into the Bank’s applications and on-going enhancements
  • Assist in integration of new products and/or regulatory requirements into the Bank’s infrastructure
  • Support the development of analytical tools for the Risk department
  • Follow up on operational incidents, ensure mitigation measures and prepare monthly incident report
  • Assist with preparation of regulatory reports (ESMA/Statistical/ad hoc)
  • Maintain and develop robust and efficient accounting and reporting processes and related policies
  • Support strategic initiatives and projects as the Bank accelerates growth


Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor/Master science related degree such as applied mathematics, computer science, engineering
  • Recent graduate with a maximum of two years' working experience prior to or after graduation
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and desire to work in a fast growth and ever changing environment
  • Excellent modelling, data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Python, R. SQL or MATLAB is a plus
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
  • Fluent in English
