Reporting to the Luxembourg Conducting Officer and functionally to the global Program Management Office the role will lead the Luxembourg SICAV Part II project, providing input as a subject matter expert and acting as the main point of contact for the business and the regions.
The Role:
- Provide input, alongside acting as a coordinator for the subject matter experts on Luxembourg funds, AIFM extension applications and associated operating model business requirements
- Propose and document the optimal operating model with associated action owners in the business
- Manage the project timeline and budget any associated suppliers
- Organise and lead project meetings, and prepare communication packs
- Work with existing Third Party Administrators in respect of a gap analysis and required amendments to the operating model
- Provide robust challenge and scrutiny of responses, highlighting any items for challenge/investigation
- Risk assessment
- Work with the business to determine optimal model and document
- Manage relationship with third party service providers (lawyers and consultants), inclusive of a selection process for the consultants, including
- Provide robust challenge and scrutiny of RFP responses, highlighting any items for challenge/investigation
- Strategic fit and ability to leverage existing relationships
- Work with the business to determine scoring criteria and assess each response against it
- Arrive at supplier shortlist for recommendation to undertake activities
- Manage/implement the Luxembourg SICAV II project liaising with key Luxembourg/EMEA/US stakeholders
- Carry out the full-range of project management activities including:-
- Budget oversight
- Organising and leading project meetings, and preparing communication packs
- Ensuring any identified gaps are closed.
The Candidate:
- Extensive experience of Luxembourg Funds (Primarily SICAV Part II) and Luxembourg AIFM extension application
- Demonstrable experience of Luxembourg regulation, AIFM policies and procedures and liquidity management, experience in AIFM upgrades an advantage
- Ideal candidates will have an understanding of Luxembourg AIFM requirements, liquidity management of open-ended vehicles, SICAV Part II structures, marketing permissions with ELTIF applications an advantage
- Working knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements pertaining to Product including MiFID II, AIFMD, ELTIF etc.
- Excellent written and oral English language skills as well as a strong working knowledge of French an advantage
- Ability to undertake operating model design and upgrade policies and procedures an advantage
