An award winning UK fintech start up (now 70 people in London) is looking to open its first European office in Luxembourg and need a Finance Manager and a Risk and Compliance Manager to set up the business. They need professionals with expert knowledge of Luxembourg's regulatory environment.
This is a fast growing and highly ambitious fintech start-up looking to build their first physical office outside of the UK in Luxembourg.
The business is now about 70 strong in London having raised the most amount ever in the UK through crowdfunding in their 5th round of capital raise this year. They provide, through their mobile app, totally commission-free access to stock and ETF trading and now have over 200,000 users having really accelerated their assets under management and amount of daily trades during the COVID crisis.
The business is now looking to open its first physical office outside of the UK in Luxembourg. The initial team to open the office will consist of a Finance Manager and a Compliance and Risk Manager,
For the risk and compliance role they need someone who is very knowledgeable about Luxembourg's financial services regulations to set up the risk and compliance framework for the business. This role will work in conjuncture with the global head of risk and compliance and will be the expert for all matters to do with Luxembourgian risk and compliance.
They are looking for someone with deep and up-to-date technical expertise in several areas of European regulation such as MiFID II and MAD/MAR. Someone who has a strong working knowledge of the regulatory framework for Luxembourg and the CSSF supervisory frameworks and processes, especially financial crime and AML
