Workday Security Admin

Department overview: The Technical team is primarily based in London, Denver, Penang and Noida. We are using Workday as HR solutions in the organization and used for various HR activities like managing leaves, performance management, recruitment, payroll, learning, etc.
Position summary: We are seeking an experienced Workday Security administrator with hands on experience in the design and configuration of Workday security for large scale deployments. This person will work with business users and project teams to determine security requirements and implement best practices in design and security configurations for the Workday System business processes, reports, and integrations. In addition to Workday, the resource needs to support Ariba and SAP Security as well as backup to primary resource. This position requires strong written and oral communication skills. The ideal candidate must have experience implementing Workday Security for large organizations and have expert knowledge on access, security, user and role based security.

Duties & accountabilities
1. Manage the system configuration, security administration, systems updates, and overall functionality of the Workday system.
2.Manage and ensure the implementation of semi-annual releases from Workday.
3. Assist with the development of training plans to help end-users, especially in HR, Finance and payroll, carry out role-based and user-based responsibilities in the system.
4.Regularly perform data audits and validation, and follow up with appropriate personnel for corrections.
5.Administer system security ensuring users are granted appropriate and approved access.
6.Support all Workday users by troubleshooting problems, answering questions, delegating access, creating and/or modifying reports, resetting passwords and assisting in the creation of documentation as needed.
7. Proactively identify and manage Segregation of Duties (SOD) exceptions during the user entitlement process, reducing organizational risk and costs.
8. Assist in the creation of a clear Security framework document identifying all the internal and external interfaces adhere to secure transmission of data through integrations.
9. Understands and maintains employees' Data Privacy compliance measures, HR laws, and regulations associated with resource and data management.
10.Follows appropriate change control processes and approval processes when applying updates to employee records and other system configuration.

B. Tech/ MCA/ MBA
Must be organised and have the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.

Management requirements
Must be a self-starter and have the ability to manage own workload as well as drive the agenda of the wider goals of the team from an SAP perspective.
