Application Support Analyst (ITSR)

  • Determine and understand business priorities, requirements, structures and processes
  • Manage and deliver business systems enhancements, integration and implementation
  • Identifying options for potential solutions and assessing them for both technical and business suitability
  • Involve in in the enhancement / project solutioning i.e. system requirements, specifications, costs, timelines, and other key reporting needs in the systems
  • Able to perform impact analysis in the subject matter and carry out technical design independently
  • Working closely with colleagues, vendors and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
  • Ensure budgets are adhered to and deadlines met
  • Perform coding and unit testing for application development / fix defect if required
  • Perform system and integration testing, and support user acceptance testing and implementation
  • Establish and maintain good relationship with key stakeholders to ensure user priorities are handled within expected timelines
  • Pro-actively look for production system improvements and recommend alternative technologies or improvements to enhance existing infrastructure / application to support organizational goals
  • Working closely with colleagues, vendors and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
  • Delivery and support of appropriate digital technology, an integral part of the technology roadmap, allowing people to interact with customer and each other in a seamless and efficient manner
  • Ensure compliance to internal processes and support systems Audit process
  • Maintain IT documentation to track and record all IT enhancement & project progress


Qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in IT with minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in the IT application support / development field
  • Technically competent in Core Banking System i.e. Payment, Remittance, GIRO, Deposit, Loans or CIF system such as AS400 ROG, CLLE Programming skill and SQL query knowledge
  • Possess knowledge on .net, JavaScript, XML, Web-based technologies, Mobile application, Big Data, Java, WebService, API will be added advantage
  • Strong technical, analytical, communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail follow SDLC process
  • Possess initiative, drive, and ability to work well independently and in a team are essential attributes
  • Able to work outside normal office hours to support urgent enhancement delivery / critical production issues
  • Good understanding of OCBC ITMP/SDLC, Information Security, Technical Architecture, IT and Procurement & Vendor Management policies and guidelines will be an added advantage
